# [Usage](../../../usage.md) > [Components and standard attributes](../basics.md) > dimension

---
`dimension` | `->setDimension()`

Dimension in pixel to set the height of a Chart, or the width an height of a QRCode.

| Types     | Default |
|-----------|---------|
| `integer` | `200`   |

Pixel size for Visual components that need explicit sizing, mainly `Chart` (height) and `QRCode` (width and height). Applies less often to Form fields or generic containers. When omitted it falls back to `200`.
Increase for dashboards; keep small for table cells or cards.

### Example
Blade:
```php
{!! \KFramework\Components\Visual\Chart::make()->setDimension(320) !!}
```
Controller:
```php
Chart::make()->setDimension(320);
QRCode::make('hello')->setDimension(150);
```

### Interaction / tips
- Pair with `transparent` (../shared_attributes/transparent.md) for borderless large charts.
- Use `small` (../shared_attributes/small.md) for component slim variants, `dimension` for pixel sizing.
- Fixed headers use `fixed` (../shared_attributes/fixed.md), not `dimension`.
