# [Usage](../../../usage.md) > [Components and standard attributes](../basics.md) > disableCancel

---

`disableCancel` | `->setDisableCancel()`

Hides the cancel button. Used for `Forms` and `Modals` with mounted form.

| Types     | Default |
|-----------|---------|
| `boolean` | `false` |

Hides the cancel / go-back button on `Form` and `Modal` with form. Used for embedded or single-action forms where navigation away makes no sense. When omitted (`false`) the cancel button shows per container defaults.
Only affects chrome; field behavior is unchanged.

### Example
Blade:
```php
{!! \KFramework\Components\Forms\Form::make()->setDisableCancel(true) !!}
```
Controller:
```php
Form::make()->setSchema([Input::make('name')])->setDisableCancel(true);
```

### Interaction / tips
- Trio with `disableSubmit` (../shared_attributes/disable_submit.md) and `disableClean` (../shared_attributes/disable_clean.md) to fully control the action row.
- Add custom exits via `actionButtons` (../shared_attributes/action_buttons.md) when hiding cancel.
- Label the submit via `submitText` (../shared_attributes/submit_text.md).
