# [Usage](../../../usage.md) > [Resources](resources.md) > Users resource

Use the Users resource when you need a ready-made admin UI for the standard Laravel Authenticable model instead of building user CRUD by hand. It pairs with the [Roles resource](roles_resource.md) (assign `root` / custom roles here) and with [User profile](user_profile.md) (users editing themselves), and it is the same [Resource](resources.md) template with `UsersResource` pre-configured.

K-Framework provides a resource to directly add, edit or remove users, leveraging standard Laravel Authenticable Model and K-Framework Resource template.

The user resource can be enabled/disabled in the config:
```html
config/k-framework/modules.php
```

and enable `users_resource`:
```php
'users_resource' => true,
```

Being registered as a resource, you can access to it using the standard URL:
```html
/resources/users
```

Is advised to enable the [Roles system](roles_resource.md) to deny unauthorized users to access to user resource.

## Example

```php
// config/k-framework/modules.php
'users_resource' => true,
'roles_resource' => true,
```

```html
<!-- Blade nav -->
<a href="/resources/users">Users</a>
<a href="/resources/roles">Roles</a>
```

```php
// Gate the link with the same helper the middleware uses
@if(\KFramework\Helpers\RolesHelper::hasPermission('resources.users.list'))
    <a href="/resources/users">Manage users</a>
@endif
```

Open `/resources/users` to create/edit users, then assign roles that were defined in `/resources/roles`.
